Weekend Training

14th and 15th September 2024

These educational and philosophical weekends are designed for everyone. No previous training is required. We ask that you are willing to learn and are curious about yoga beyond the asana practice.

The weekend will take you on a trip through the history of Yoga, definitions of yoga, practices of Yoga, the 'goal' of Yoga, and many of the 'basics'  led by Charlie Kelly and friends.

It will give you an understanding of the intentions of the yogis from the different lineages, how the different scriptures have different takes on Yoga and how that affects the practices.

We will debunk some of the practices adopted by the West as 'Yoga' and look through some of the most influential texts to see their definitions and practices of yoga.

In the training, key verses and sutras from these texts will be examined and discussed to help build a better understanding of Yoga.

Each participant will receive copies of these influential texts to keep and refer to at their own convenience.

The four main yogas (Bhakti, Jnana, Karma, Raja) will be discussed as a multifold approach to living in Yoga today.

You will be stepping into a world and a community of like-minded people who are curious to have the veil lifted from before their eyes, to contemplate Union, Reality, Love, and Consciousness, and to be able to find Yoga beyond the yoga studio.

This course is extremely limited in number. If you wish to participate in this rich philosophical dive into the Divine, sign up now.

£150 for the weekend, including books and more.

14th from 2pm - 10pm

15th from 8am - 3:30pm

Location: London, England.

Participants in this course also receive discounts on the retreats in March if they wish to join.
